French authorities have eased restrictions on the cruise ship Ambition after confirming a viral gastrointestinal outbreak, not hantavirus, sickened dozens. Around 80 passengers and crew experienced symptoms, with no severe cases reported. A passenger's death was attributed to a heart attack, unrelated to the illness.
