The London Underground is severely disrupted on four lines today, from 12.01am until 11.59pm. On Tuesday, no service is planned on the Circle line, the Piccadilly line, the Metropolitan line between Baker Street and Aldgate, and the Central line between White City and Liverpool Street. There will be limited services on other lines before 6.30am, and customers should complete their journeys before 9pm, Transport for London (TfL) warned. The Jubilee line is expected to run with minor delays due to strike actions impacting it less.Other services across the TfL network, including the Elizabeth line, DLR, London Overground, buses and trams, will run as normal, though may be significantly busier. A second round of 24-hour strikes is due to begin at midnight on Thursday - and a London transport official has already dashed hopes the industrial action may be called off. Nick Dent, Director of Customer Operations on the London Underground for Transport for London, told BBC Radio London as he was asked about chances of a deal to avert the second strike: "Unfortunately, not this week. We did ask yesterday. We were in talks at Acas. We asked them to suspend both strike days this week to allow further talks...
