أشار قطاع الإغاثة والإيواء باللجنة الوطنية لإدارة الحالات الطارئة إلى أنّ عدد المراكز المحددة للإغاثة والإيواء في محافظات سلطنة عُمان بلغ 161 مركزًا، منها 53 مركزًا مجهزًا بالكامل لاستقبال الحالات الطارئة.

وأفاد بأنه تم تفعيل مركز واحد في مدرسة الغيظرانة للتعليم الأساسي بولاية أدم بمحافظة الداخلية احترازيًّا، حيث تم إيواء 13 أسرة بإجمالي 106 أفراد.
