Paulo Dybala will lead the Roma attack in a Serie A match against Fiorentina this evening, with Mateo Pellegrino challenging Moise Kean for a starting spot in the Viola’s attack.
It kicks off at 20:45 CET [19:45 BST] at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. It will be played after Bologna-Lazio at 18:30 CET. Serie A Round 1 ends with those two Monday games.
Lorenzo Pellegrini is unavailable for Roma, while Fiorentina have travelled to the capital without the injured Fabiano Parisi.
Roma will rely on the usual 3-4-2-1 system with Dybala playing as an attacking midfielder behind Donyell Malen.
New signing Rodrigo Mora challenges Matias Soulé for the other spot as an attacking midfielder.
Fiorentina will look to a 4-3-2-1 system, with Franco Mastantuono expected to get the nod over Arthur Atta, who is not fully fit after getting a knock in Fiorentina’s recent Coppa Italia game against Benevento.
Joao Mario appears favourite over Alex Jimenez at right-back, while the starting striker for the visitors will be either Kean or Pellegrino.
According to Sky Sport, Kean will get the nod, but Gazzetta claims that Pellegrino is the favourite.
