Published: 19:39, 6 April 2026 | Updated: 19:59, 6 April 2026 A 14-year-old schoolboy shot dead in south-east London told his 'broken' mother that he was going out to film a music video with his friends, but 'never came home', his family has revealed. Eghosa Ogbebor, understood to be a young drill rapper, was gunned down near Woolwich Dockyard station on Thursday. He was pronounced dead at the scene in Lord Warwick Street at around 3.40pm after being shot. Eghosa, who recorded drill songs under the name Y.Risky, had released snippets of songs he recorded at school with his friends in the days leading up to his death.  Speaking at Eghosa's family home in Abbey Wood, his aunt revealed that he had told his mother he was going out to film a rap video and said his mother was 'broken' by her son's death. She told Metro: 'He loved music he was so talented and lived for it. On the day he was shot, he had gone out to film a video with his friends. 'He never came back. His mother is broken. He was so young, he had his whole life ahead of him. He was so young, just a boy.' A 16-year-old boy and 19-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.  Eghosa Ogbebor (pictured) was shot dead near Woolwich Dockyard station on Thursday Forensic officers near to the scene in Woolwich where Eghosa was fatally shot A 16-year-old and 19-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody A man, aged 46, also remains in custody after being arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.  An 18-year-old man and two boys aged 14 were arrested on Friday on suspicion of murder, but have since been released on bail.  Flowers have been laid by neighbours and friends in his memory outside the schoolboy's family home. One said they were 'so sorry' for his family, describing the situation as 'just awful.' They said: 'It's  Easter and should be a time for celebration but they are grieving. It's just awful.' DCI Lucie Card, whose team is leading the investigation, said: 'Our team of dedicated detectives are continuing enquiries to investigate Eghosa's tragic death. 'Residents in Woolwich may have noticed a large amount of police activity last night, as officers arrested three further people in connection with the investigation. The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan labelled the killing as 'appalling'.
