Real Madrid star 'hospitalised after fight with own teammate' as extraordinary details emerge

Fede Valverde was taken to hospital following a serious physical confrontation with teammate Aurelien Tchouameni at Real Madrid's training facility earlier this week.
The clash between the Uruguayan midfielder and his French colleague reportedly escalated dramatically on Thursday, a day after an initial row sparked by a training ground foul.
According to Marca, fellow squad members stepped in to separate the pair before Valverde required medical attention, with sources within the club describing the incident as "very serious" and "much worse" than the previous day's disagreement.
The altercation is believed to have intensified after Valverde declined to shake Tchouameni's hand when returning to training.
An accidental blow during the subsequent dressing room fracas left Valverde with a cut, prompting his hospital visit.
Head coach Alvaro Arbeloa reportedly convened an emergency crisis meeting in an attempt to ease tensions following the violent episode.
The atmosphere within the squad appears deeply fractured, with reports suggesting several players are now barely communicating with one another.

More troublingly for the Spanish giants, six members of the first team are said to have stopped engaging with Arbeloa entirely.
Yet footage emerged hours after the Valverde incident showing Kylian Mbappe leaving the Valdebebas complex with a broad smile on his face, apparently laughing as he drove away.
The France captain has himself become a lightning rod for criticism amid the toxic environment engulfing the club.

Mbappe was photographed aboard a yacht in Sardinia with girlfriend Ester Exposito last weekend while recovering from a muscular problem in his left leg that had sidelined him from the team.
The 27-year-old returned to training on Monday, but Spanish media reported widespread "incomprehension" among teammates regarding his decision to holiday during his rehabilitation.
A spokesperson for the World Cup winner issued a statement insisting the criticism was "NOT corresponding to the reality and the work that Kylian does daily for the good of the team".
Nevertheless, a petition demanding Mbappe's departure from the club gained momentum on Wednesday evening.
The forward had already faced accusations of "individualism" in the dressing room and reportedly clashed with one of Arbeloa's assistants during a recent training session.
Mbappe had also drawn scrutiny for apparently liking and then removing his approval from a social media post calling for Jose Mourinho to replace Arbeloa at the season's end.

The turmoil engulfing the Bernabeu comes at the worst possible moment, with Sunday's El Clasico at Camp Nou carrying enormous significance.
Barcelona currently hold an 11-point advantage over their bitter rivals in the LaLiga standings.
Defeat for Madrid would hand their Catalan opponents the league title.
Only Los Blancos' victory against Espanyol last weekend spared them the humiliation of forming a guard of honour for the champions-in-waiting when they travel to Barcelona this weekend.
