Peak hour chaos as car is flipped upside-down during nasty crash on the Harbour Bridge - sparking huge traffic pile-up

By ASHLEY NICKEL, NEWS REPORTER, AUSTRALIA Published: 07:36, 20 May 2026 | Updated: 07:58, 20 May 2026 A three-car crash has blocked cars heading onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge amid peak-hour traffic.  A car was seen on its roof in the southbound-lane of the Western Distributor, just past Grosvenor Street/York Street Off-Ramp on the bridge's southern end. At least three drivers were seen standing outside the wrecks.  Emergency services were called to the scene about 4.15pm.   Several people are being assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries.
