Oman launches bidding round for five oil and gas blocks

Oman’s energy ministry has ​launched a bidding ‌round for five new oil and ​gas concession ​blocks as it seeks ⁠to attract ​investment and boost ​development of its hydrocarbon resources, the state news ​agency reported ​on Sunday.

Registration opens immediately ‌and ⁠will run until September 30, with results to ​be ​announced ⁠after technical and financial ​evaluation, the ministry ​was ⁠reported as saying.
