Deputies responded to the area around 1:30 a.m. Friday, but Berry fled into nearby woods before they arrived, the sheriff's office said.Berry's wife was taken to a medical facility, but her condition is unknown.As of Monday, the sheriff's office said it was still searching for Berry, who was last seen wearing camouflage clothing near River Trace Road in the state's northwest, about 90 miles from Nashville.Officials noted that he has "extensive training in survival tactics," is an "excellent swimmer and diver," and is "in good physical shape."Berry is believed to be armed with at least one handgun and extra ammunition, the sheriff's office said.
