Geçit töreni ve sonrasındaki kutlama programı coşku dolu anlara sahne oldu. ABD'de Türk diplomatların Ermeni terör örgütü ASALA tarafından şehit edilmesine tepki amacıyla, Türk Amerikan Dernekleri Federasyonu (TADF) tarafından ilk olarak 1981'de düzenlenen ve sonrasında gelenekselleşen yürüyüş ve sonrasındaki festivale, ABD'deki Türk misyonu temsilcileri, bazı bürokratlar, Türkiye'den gelen sanatçılar ve çeşitli sivil toplum örgütü temsilcileri katıldı. Yürüyüş kortejinde, Cumhurbaşkanlığı İletişim Başkan Yardımcısı Ferhat Pirinççi, Cumhurbaşkanı Başdanışmanı ve Cumhurbaşkanlığı Güvenlik ve Dış Politikalar Kurulu Başkanvekili Büyükelçi Prof. Dr. Çağrı Erhan, Türkiye'nin Washington Büyükelçisi Sedat Önal, Türkiye'nin BM Daimi Temsilcisi Ahmet Yıldız ve Türkiye'nin New York Başkonsolosu Muhittin Ahmet Yazal başta olmak üzere, Türk Amerikan sivil toplum örgütlerinin temsilcileri hazır bulundu. Türk-Amerikan toplumunun yanı sıra KKTC, Azerbaycan ve Türk dünyasından da yoğun katılımın olduğu etkinlikte, New York ve çevre eyaletlerden gelenler, geçit törenini izlemek için Madison Caddesi'nin kaldırımlarına sıralanırken, spordan eğitime çeşitli alanlarda faaliyet gösteren dernekler, okullar ve benzeri eğitim kuruluşları, yürüyüş esnasında protokolü selamladı. Madison 38. Sokaktan başlayan ve 25. Sokaktaki Madison Meydanı Parkı'na kadar devam eden yürüyüşün ardından, konser alanında birçok sanatçı tarafından Türk marşları ve ezgileri seslendirilirken, bu sezonun lig şampiyonu Galatasaray başta olmak üzere diğer Türk takımlarının coşkusu da festivale renk kattı. Yürüyüş sonrası Madison Meydanı Parkı'nda devam eden kutlamalar İstiklal Marşı'nın okunmasıyla başladı, daha sonra Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'ın Türk Amerikan toplumuna gönderdiği video mesajı festival alanında izlendi. Cumhurbaşkanlığı İletişim Başkanı Burhanettin Duran, Türk Amerikan toplumuna gönderdiği video mesajında, Türkiye'nin uluslararası etkinliği bağlamında yurt dışında yaşayan Türk vatandaşlarının önemine vurgu yaparak birlik beraberlik mesajı verdi. Duran, dayanışma ruhuna vurgu yaptığı konuşmasında, "Manhattan sokaklarını kırmızı beyaza boyayan bu coşku yalnız bir yürüyüşün değil, köklü bir tarihin, güçlü bir kimliğin ve sarsılmaz bir birlik ruhunun ifadesidir." dedi. "Türkiye bu gücünü, birlik ve beraberliğimizden almaktadır. Bu dayanışma ruhuyla üstesinden gelemeyeceğimiz hiçbir zorluk yoktur." diyen Duran, Türk Günü Yürüyüşü'nün "bu ortak ruhun, güçlü aidiyetin ve anlayışın en somut tezahürü" olduğunu kaydetti. Türk Günü Yürüyüşü kapsamında, İletişim Başkanlığının organize ettiği ve New York sokaklarında dolaşan dijital kamyonlar, Türkiye’nin tarihi ve turistik yerlerini, kültürel değerlerini ve çevre vizyonunu dünya kamuoyuna aktardı. Dijital kamyonların ekranlarında yayınlanan içeriklerde, UNESCO Yaratıcı Şehirler Ağı'na üye olan, gastronomi, müzik ve el sanatları ile ön plana çıkan Afyon, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kırşehir, Bursa, Kütahya ve Şanlıurfa gibi şehirlere özgü değerler tanıtıldı. Aynı zamanda içeriklerde Türkiye’nin küresel ölçekte yürüttüğü çevre ve sürdürülebilirlik çalışmaları da geniş yer buldu. Türkiye’nin 2026 yılında Antalya’da ev sahipliği yapacağı COP31 İklim Zirvesi ile Türkiye’nin çevre politikaları ve Sıfır Atık vizyonuna özgü mesajlar da ekranlarda paylaşıldı. Öte yandan festivalde kürsüye davet edilen Washington Büyükelçisi Sedat Önal ve New York Başkonsolosu Ahmet Yazal da Türk Günü Yürüyüşü ve Festivali'nin önemine vurgu yaparken, Türk Amerikan toplumunun ABD'de geldiği noktanın altını çizen değerlendirmelerde bulundu. Daha sonra Milli Savunma Bakanlığı uhdesindeki Mehteran Birliği'nin sergilediği performans katılımcılardan büyük alkış alırken ilerleyen saatlerde misafirler, Türk sanatçıların ve folklor ekiplerinin performanslarıyla coşkulu saatler yaşadı.
