Marjorie Taylor Greene joins celebrity app Cameo charging absurd amounts for silly video messages

The former Republican congresswoman announced on her TikTok page Tuesday that she was joining the site, which offers fans the chance to pay celebrities for personalized videos. 'If you have a special message for a friend or loved one, I would love to deliver it for you,' she told her followers. 'Or any other message for anyone.' Greene is now available for birthday shout-outs, 'advice' videos, 'pep talk' videos and 'roast' clips. Fans can also pay the Republican firebrand to answer questions, according to her profile on the site. But the opportunity comes with a hefty price tag, as the starting price for one of her personalized videos is $180, according to her profile on the site. An option for Greene to make a special 'business' video will also set fans back at least $5,000. Businesses that agree to pay the high sum will then be able to use a clip featuring the former congresswoman for a 15-day period for marketing purposes with 'flexible' options for an extended license. 'Wow big 3-0. That's awesome!' Greene told the fan who had just turned 30. 'And I also heard you have a cute little dog named Pino, and I heard that Pino is just the greatest patriot, which I absolutely love, and I also heard that Pino might also make a better president than our current one - and as I think about that, I would say that's probably true,' she continued. 'Definitely true.' In another video in which Greene congratulated the winner of a fantasy football league, she commended the loser for 'losing all the way down.' 'That's extremely impressive,' she said. 'It reminds me of someone else's poll numbers who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.' Greene resigned from Congress in January of this year after earning Trump's ire as she pressed the administration to release all of the files related to the Department of Justice's investigation into sex pest Jeffrey Epstein. Trump then started to call his one-time close ally a 'traitor,' among other nicknames. Her oddly-worded new Cameo profile, however, describes her as an 'America first firebrand who proudly fought for women to release the Epstein files [and] no more foreign wars.' It goes on to say Greene is 'excited to connect with all of you on Cameo.' All are former Trump allies turned detractors who have grown frustrated by the President's broken campaign promises. 'We said no more foreign wars, and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise. But he’s betrayed us all,' Greene wrote in a post on social media announcing the move.
