Leavitt, 28, told reporters aboard Air Force One Friday evening that she will return to work for the super PAC, for which she served as a spokesperson before joining Trump’s 2024 campaign, though she did not specify what her new title will be. MAGA Inc. did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Leavitt’s new role. Speaking briefly in the press cabin before takeoff, Leavitt told reporters that she will miss the job “but I love my kids even more.” Leavitt added that she and her family will remain in Washington for a while, telling reporters, “You guys will still see me all the time.” She told reporters that Friday’s flight to South Carolina for a rally supporting Sen. Darline Graham will be her last trip as press secretary, but that she’ll be back on board for the Republican National Committee’s midterm convention scheduled for Sept. 9 and 10. Leavitt, who became the youngest press secretary in history when she joined the second Trump administration, announced her departure from the White House on Aug. 12.
