EXCLUSIVE: Israeli intelligence FURIOUS over Trump ceasefire and determined to continue Iran warUS President Donald Trump has pulled back at the last minute from imposing further hell on Iranian regime as the Strait of Hormuz is freed up for two weeks - but Israel keeps up attacksCommentsNewsChris Hughes Defence and Security Editor11:28, 08 Apr 2026View 5 ImagesThis is what ceasefire looks like in Lebanon this morning(Image: AFP via Getty Images)Israeli intelligence is ‘furious’ over the so-called Trump-Iran ceasefire deal and is likely to do all it can to undermine it and continue the war, sources have told the Mirror. A western security source says the Israeli Mossad agency and Military Intelligence does not believe it has achieved all of its aims in the war, despite Trump’s claims of a major success. The nuclear enrichment pile still remains buried in Tehran’s nuke facilities, it still has half of its missile capability and thousands of deadly drones remain in its underground tunnel facilities. Our source told the Mirror: “The Israeli intelligence community is deeply unhappy about this so-called deal as it has not achieved anywhere near what it wanted to in this conflict. They believe it is way too early and Iran has retained some of its capability in terms of missiles and drones so it remains a threat to Israeli cities and its citizens. It is highly likely that Israel will try to undermine what Trump claims he has achieved because this was Israel’s once chance at smashing the Iranian threat. It’s not there yet.”View 5 ImagesWarthog US warplaneabove RAF Lakenheath, UK(Image: Getty Images)READ MORE: Middle East faces 'missile storm' if Trump steps up Iran attackOPINIONChristopher BucktinWhy Trump's chilling Iran threats should still make us all fear despite ceasefireDonald Trumpالمصدر: Mirror | Source: Mirror
