Sahile kumlarla "Küresel Sumud Filosu" yazıldı ve Filistin bayrağı renklerine boyandı. Yazının yakınına Filistin ve Türk bayrakları dikildi. İsrail saldırılarında uzuvlarını kaybeden Filistinliler ellerinde Avila ve Ebu Kişk'in fotoğraflarının olduğu pankartlar taşıdı. İsrail saldırılarında kolunu ve iki bacağını kaybeden Gazzeli Ahmed el-Sufiri, AA muhabirine yaptığı açıklamada, "Parçalanmış çadırların içinden Gazze sahiline tüm dünyaya Küresel Sumud Filosu ile dayanışma içinde olduğumuzu göstermek için geldik." dedi. Sufiri, "İşgalci İsrail'e Sumud Filosu ile dayanışma içindeyiz diyoruz. Gazze ile dayanışma gösterenlere de şunu diyoruz: Mesajınız ulaştı, kalplerimize dokundunuz ve Allah’ın izniyle, eğer bu sefer Gazze’ye ulaşamadıysanız da bunu tekrar deneyeceksiniz ve Gazze’ye geleceksiniz. Bizler de Allah’ın izniyle burada sizi bekliyor olacağız." ifadelerini kullandı. Gazze'deki yaralıların hem kuşatma altında olmanın hem de yaralanmanın acısını yaşadığına vurgu yapan Sufiri, "Tüm dünyadan Gazze'ye acil tıbbi yardımların, ekipmanların, tekerlekli sandalyelerin ve protezlerin ulaştırılmasını talep ediyoruz. Ayrıca kritik vakaların tedavisi için tıbbi ekiplerin girişine izin verilmesini istiyoruz." diye konuştu. Sufiri, Küresel Sumud Filosu'nda İsrail'in alıkoyduğu aktivistlerin de serbest bırakılması çağrısında bulundu. İsrail'in saldırılarını durdurması için dayanışma çağrısı yapan Sufiri, Türk halkına seslenerek şunları söyledi: "Mesafeler uzak olsa da kalplerimize ulaştınız. Filistin halkına verdiğiniz destek ve özellikle yaralıların yanında durduğunuz için mübarek çabalarınıza teşekkür ediyoruz. Allah sizden razı olsun. Sizleri, bağışlarınızı, Filistin halkına genel, yaralılara ise özel olarak verdiğiniz desteğinizi beklemeye devam ediyoruz." Filistinli Dima Abid de Türkçe konuşarak, Sumud Filosu'na destek olmak için Gazze sahilinde toplandıklarını söyledi. Abid, İsrail'in alıkoyduğu Avila ve Ebu Kişk'e selam göndererek, bir an önce serbest kalmaları temennisinde bulundu. İsrail'in Gazze Şeridi'ne yönelik ablukasını kırma ve yaşamsal insani yardım ulaştırmayı amaçlayan Küresel Sumud Filosu 2026 Bahar Misyonu, İsrail ordusunun 29 Nisan gece saatlerinde Girit Adası açıklarında müdahalesine maruz kalmıştı. Uluslararası sularda hukuk dışı müdahalede bulunarak, aktivistleri taşıyan teknelere saldıran İsrail ordusu, Gazze'ye 600 deniz mili uzaklıkta ve Yunan kara sularından birkaç mil açıkta 177 aktivisti alıkoyup kötü muamelede bulunmuştu. İsrail'in, Küresel Sumud Filosu'ndan alıkoyduktan sonra serbest bırakmadığı ve zorla ülkeye götürdüğü aktivistler; Ebu Kişk ve Avila'nın yoğun fiziki işkence gördüğü ve sorguda ölüm tehditlerine maruz kaldığı belirtilmişti.
