Season 2 was already greenlit in November 2025, making it one of the fastest renewals for HBO’s fantasy slate. Season 1 filming only took three months, from June 14, 2024, to September 13, 2024. Season 2 producers had allocated approximately 14 weeks for principal photography, slightly longer than Season 1.
