The event will run from June 7 to June 21, with the WST Rome Park World Cup followed by the Street World Cup. The event in Rome marks the beginning of a two-year qualification window that will determine the field for LA28 men’s and women’s park and street skateboarding events. The World Skateboarding Tour serves as the official pathway for Olympic qualification, organized by World Skate, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognized governing body for the sport. The Spot Skatepark in Rome’s coastal district of Ostis will host the Park World Cup starting June 7. One week later, the Street World Cup will take place at Colle Oppio park, overlooking the Colosseum.More than 440 skateboarders from 66 nations are expected to compete across the two events. Organizers have confirmed prize money for men’s and women’s competitions, with a total purse of $200,000 per discipline split evenly between the athletes.
