teklifini kabul etmemesi hafta içindeki önemli gelişmelerden biri olarak öne çıktı. Bu karar, Orta Doğu'daki gerilimin sürebileceği algısını güçlendirdi. Söz konusu gelişme, özellikle Hürmüz Boğazı üzerinden taşınan petrol ve doğal gaz akışına ilişkin endişeleri artırdı. ABD Başkanı Donald Trump'ın İran'ın karşı teklifini "kabul edilemez" bulduğu, taraflar arasındaki görüşmelerde Hürmüz Boğazı'nın yeniden açılması ve nükleer program başlıklarında anlaşmazlıkların sürdüğü bildirildi. Makroekonomik veri tarafında ise ABD'de enflasyon göstergelerinin beklentileri aşması, emtia piyasalarında fiyatlama davranışını belirleyen bir diğer unsur oldu. ABD'de nisan ayı Tüketici Fiyat Endeksi (TÜFE) yıllık bazda yüzde 3,8 artarak Mayıs 2023'ten bu yana en güçlü yükselişini kaydetti. Enerji fiyatlarındaki artışın TÜFE'deki yükselişin yüzde 40'tan fazlasını oluşturduğu, gıda fiyatlarında da yukarı yönlü baskının güçlendiği belirtildi. Üretici fiyatlarındaki görünüm de maliyet enflasyonuna ilişkin endişeleri artırdı. ABD'de nisan ayı Üretici Fiyat Endeksi (ÜFE) aylık bazda yüzde 1,4 ile Mart 2022'den bu yana en sert artışını gösterirken, yıllık bazda yüzde 6 ile Aralık 2022'den bu yana en yüksek seviyeye çıktı. Aynı dönemde ABD Senatosu'nun Kevin Warsh'ı 54'e karşı 45 oyla ABD Merkez Bankası (Fed) Başkanlığına onaylaması, para politikasına ilişkin belirsizlikleri de fiyatlamaların merkezinde tuttu. Analistler, Warsh'ın göreve gelmesiyle Fed'in iletişim stratejisi, bilanço yönetimi ve faiz patikasına ilişkin beklentilerin yeniden şekillenebileceğini belirterek, yüksek enflasyon verilerinin faiz indirimlerine yönelik beklentilerin ötelenmesine neden olduğunu kaydetti. Öte yandan, Trump'ın üst düzey iş insanlarından oluşan heyetle Pekin'e gitmesinin ardından Çin Devlet Başkanı Şi Cinping ile gerçekleştirdiği zirve, emtia piyasalarında enerji ve tarım fiyatlamaları üzerinde etkili oldu. Beyaz Saray'ın zirve bildirgesinde, iki tarafın Hürmüz Boğazı'nın enerji akışını destekleyecek şekilde açık kalması gerektiği konusunda mutabık kaldığı belirtildi. Bu açıklama petrol ve doğal gaz fiyatlarında kısa süreli geri çekilmeye neden olsa da somut bir mekanizma öngörülmemesi ve ABD-İran müzakerelerindeki tıkanıklığın sürmesi, Brent petrol üzerindeki jeopolitik risk priminin korunmasına yol açtı. Trump'ın, Çin'in soya fasulyesi, enerji ve uçak alımını artırmayı kabul ettiğini belirtmesi de piyasalarda yakından izlendi. Değerli metaller, haftayı ABD'de açıklanan enflasyon verilerinin ardından Fed'in para politikasına ilişkin beklentilerin yeniden şekillenmesiyle düşüşle tamamladı. Analistler, yüksek enflasyonun Fed'in faiz indirim sürecini öteleme ihtimalini artırdığını, bunun da altın gibi faiz getirisi olmayan varlıkların cazibesini azalttığını belirtti. Gümüşün ons fiyatı, hem değerli metal hem de sanayi metali özelliği nedeniyle satış baskısından en fazla etkilenen ürün oldu. Dolar endeksindeki güçlenme ve sanayi talebine yönelik zayıflama beklentileri, gümüşün ons fiyatını baskıladı. İsviçre bankası UBS'in gümüş piyasasında daha küçük açık beklentisine işaret etmesi de fiyatlar üzerinde baskı oluşturan unsurlar arasında yer aldı. Bölgedeki bazı tesislerde üretimin normale dönmesinin zaman alacağına ilişkin beklentiler ve Hürmüz kaynaklı lojistik riskler fiyatları destekledi. Bakır fiyatları hafta içinde Hürmüz kaynaklı sülfürik asit ve sülfür arz darlığına ilişkin endişelerle destek bulsa da ABD enflasyon verilerinin ardından kazançlarını sınırladı. Baz metallerde tezgah üstü piyasada bu hafta libre bazında fiyatlar çinkoda yüzde 2,6, alüminyumda yüzde 1,9, kurşunda yüzde 0,3 ve bakırda yüzde 0,1 artarken, nikelde yüzde 1,9 geriledi. Enerji emtialarındaki fiyatlamalarda Hürmüz Boğazı'na ilişkin belirsizlikler, ABD-İran ateşkes sürecindeki tıkanma ve küresel arz endişeleri etkili oldu. Hafta içinde ABD-İran ateşkes sürecine yönelik haber akışı petrol piyasalarında jeopolitik risk primini artırdı. ABD Başkanı Donald Trump'ın İran'ın son karşı önerisini kabul edilemez bulduğuna ilişkin açıklamaları ve ateşkes sürecinin kırılgan seyrini koruması, arz kesintilerinin sürebileceği endişelerini destekledi. Uluslararası Enerji Ajansı'nın (IEA) küresel petrol arzına ilişkin uyarıları da fiyatları destekledi. IEA, küresel petrol arzının 2026'da günlük 3,9 milyon varil düşeceğini, Körfez üretiminin savaş öncesi seviyenin oldukça altında kaldığını ve küresel envanterlerde sert erime yaşandığını bildirdi. Doğal gaz tarafında ise fiyatlamalarda depolama verileri, sıvılaştırılmış doğal gaz (LNG) ihracat tesislerindeki bakım süreci ve Hürmüz kaynaklı küresel LNG arz endişeleri öne çıktı. ABD Enerji Enformasyon İdaresi (EIA) verilerine göre, 8 Mayıs ile biten haftada ABD doğal gaz depoları 85 milyar fitküp artış gösterirken, toplam stoklar beş yıllık ortalamanın üzerinde kalmayı sürdürdü. Buna karşın, Hürmüz Boğazı'ndaki jeopolitik gerilim küresel LNG piyasasında sıkışıklığı artırdı. Katar'dan sınırlı sayıda LNG kargosunun Boğaz'dan geçebilmesine karşın, bölgedeki genel ihracat akışlarının kısıtlı kalması fiyatlamalarda destekleyici unsur oldu.
