'Cowardly attacks' which targeted Oman not claimed by any party, Ministry confirms

Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms that the 'treacherous and cowardly attacks' that recently targeted Oman have not been claimed by any party, the country's official news agency reported.

Authorities continue to investigate the 'true source and motives' of these attacks, the statement added.

Oman reiterates that it condemns the ongoing war and all acts of violence and military targeting against all countries in the region and that it remains 'committed to its steadfast principles based on practising a policy of active neutrality'.

Oman reiterated its call for peace, security and stability across the region, urging an end to the current war and a return to dialogue and diplomacy to address the causes of the conflict and ensure safety for all peoples.
