Burak Özçivit, Ceyda Ateş, and Görkem Sevindik unite for Go Turkey’s mini-series

ALBAWABA - Burak Özçivit, Ceyda Ateş, and Görkem Sevindik come together in the new Go Turkey mini-series.

Another mini-series is being added to the Go Turkey series. The new mini-series from the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency, which showcases our beautiful homeland with world-famous TV stars, will feature İzmir, the pearl of the Aegean. Burak Özçivit, Ceyda Ateş, and Görkem Sevindik share the lead roles in the series titled "Aşk Tadında İzmir" (A Taste of Love in İzmir).

HAKAN İNAN TO DIRECT

The project, produced by NS Yapım's Enes Ergezen, begins filming on May 7th. Retropro will be the executive producer, and Hakan İnan will direct the series. The script is written by Erçin Sadıkoğlu, and Sinan Çatıkkaş is the casting director for "Aşk Tadında İzmir."

FILMING WILL LAST 5 DAYS.

The series, which will be filmed on May 7th and 11th, will bring the enchanting atmosphere of the Aegean, the historical and cultural heritage of Izmir, its natural beauties, gastronomic richness, and romantic spirit to the audience with a touch of love.

According to Turkish media reports, the project is part of a broader strategy by Go Turkey to promote different regions of the country through short, cinematic storytelling aimed at international audiences. The mini-series format has gained popularity in recent campaigns, combining tourism with high production quality and recognizable faces. İzmir was specifically chosen for its mix of coastal charm, vibrant city life, and historical landmarks such as Alaçatı, Çeşme, and the ancient city of Ephesus, which are expected to be featured visually throughout the series.

The series is also expected to be released across digital platforms and social media channels, targeting global viewers and showcasing Turkey as a top travel destination. With its romantic theme and visually rich storytelling, “Aşk Tadında İzmir” aims to blend love, culture, and travel into a short yet impactful viewing experience.

As for the cast, Burak Özçivit is one of Turkey’s biggest international stars, best known for his roles in “Kuruluş: Osman” and “Kara Sevda,” which gained massive popularity worldwide. Ceyda Ateş rose to fame with projects like “Adını Feriha Koydum” and has built a strong following both in Turkey and abroad. Görkem Sevindik is widely recognized for his powerful performances in series such as “Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu” and “Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz,” where he established himself as a strong character actor.
