Trump, törenin ardından Çin Devlet Başkanı Şi Cinping ile ikili ve heyetler arası görüşmeler gerçekleştirecek. Trump ve Şi'nin buluşmasında ikili ticaret ve ekonomi konularının yanı sıra ABD ve İsrail'in İran'a saldırılarıyla başlayan savaşın ve Çin ile egemenlik ihtilafı içindeki Tayvan'ın durumunun gündemde olması bekleniyor. Beyaz Saray'dan ziyaret öncesinde yapılan açıklamada, ABD tarafının ziyarette havacılık, tarım ve enerji alanlarında yeni anlaşmaların yapılmasının beklendiği belirtilmişti.
