أعلن البنك المركزي الروسي، اليوم الخميس، عن أن الروبل الروسي سجل أعلى مستوياته منذ ثلاث سنوات، مدفوعاً باتساع الفجوة في الميزان التجاري ومعدلات الفائدة الرئيسية المرتفعة. وقال المركزي الروسي في بيان صحفي: "سجلت العملة الروسية صعوداً بأكثر من الخُمس مقابل الدولار، وهو أعلى مستوى منذ ثلاث سنوات". وأضاف، أن "هذا الارتفاع أنعش عائدات صادرات النفط، وساعد في تخفيف الضغوط التضخمية في أسعار الخدمات والسلع، ويدفع باتجاه ارتفاع الإيرادات العامة الحكومية".
