Buildings crack and crumble as strong earthquake rocks Venezuela's capital - tsunami alert issued

The Venezuelan capital has been shaken by a strong earthquake with authorities issuing a tsunami warning for the Caribbean region. According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the shake registered at 7.1 magnitude and at a depth of 13km. Caracas residents were seen rushing out of buildings, with one witness telling Reuters that cracks had formed up the side of their apartment and glass had been shattered.More to follow...
