NEW DELHI: An anti-drone shield will be part of the ‘smart border security grid’ to check cross-border drone-smuggling of narcotics as well as arms and ammunition, as per a home ministry decision, sources said.The anti-drone shield has been developed indigenously and will soon be deployed to check drones which have been used by ISI and drug traffickers, who more often than not work in tandem, to drop arms and drugs in the border areas, especially in Punjab.
