Zelensky’s office head says Witkoff, Kushner to visit Kiev after April 12

The head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, Kirill Budanov (listed in Russia as a terrorist and extremist), said that US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and entrepreneur Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of Donald Trump, may visit Kiev after April 12, which would be their first visit to Ukraine. "Kushner, Witkoff, Lindsey Graham — those are the ones expected to come. Who else will be there — we’ll see," Budanov said in an interview with Bloomberg. The delegation may arrive shortly after April 12, he specified. Although Witkoff and Kushner have repeatedly visited Russia for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, this would be their first visit to Ukraine. According to Budanov, Kiev may receive security guarantees as a result of the visit by the US delegation. "We set out what we want a long time ago. I think it will be implemented soon. What comes next is another question. But on security guarantees, we have definitely made progress — we’ve already moved forward," Budanov said. Back in January, Witkoff said that he would visit Kiev in the near future.
