Youngster shouts 'love you bro' at Prince William and his response is epic

On Wednesday (June 3), Prince William had a packed schedule travelling around South East London, attending several engagements, and a particular moment captured on camera left onlookers completely floored. A clip was posted on X, formerly known as Twitter , by a woman named Susanna Fataki, and viewers have been left amazed by the way the future King engaged with members of the public. As he departed a pub , where he had spent some time during his visit, a young boy was spotted shouting "I love you bro" — and what followed was utterly epic. It's not the first occasion the Prince has been in the spotlight either. Previously, it was claimed he had shown his true colours. This week, however, he did something rather different as he engaged with those gathered to see him. Susanna explained: "Outside the pub, excited young lads were shouting 'I love you bro!' "He stopped and reached out to shake hands with one of them. Such a lovely moment." The footage shared alongside the post captured how the Prince connected with the crowd. As William was making his departure, people began waving as his car pulled away — before it suddenly came to a halt. One lad shouted "I love you bro", prompting Prince William to reach out of the car window and shake the young Royal fan's hand. The boy's reaction was one of sheer disbelief and excitement. The video has attracted thousands of views since being posted, prompting plenty of people to share their thoughts in the comments section. One person remarked: "This is fantastic! He appeared to delight many as he engaged with locals and spent time at a neighbourhood pub. Throughout the visit, he even pledged to safeguard Britain's pubs while in Peckham. There, he was spotted serving pints and conversing with regular customers. The Prince of Wales enjoyed a busy schedule, stopping at the Prince of Peckham pub, while also calling at a community charity and travelling to Shoreditch to attend the Diana Award. While at the pub, he was observed speaking with owner Clem Ogbonnaya. William emphasised that the nation's pubs are "so important" and characterised them as "a place for the community to come together". He also acknowledged he believes they require our safeguarding. Speaking at the Prince of Peckham, William declared: "I love pubs. I want to do as much as I can to support pubs because I love the community. We need to protect our pubs."
