Terörizmin Finansmanının Önlenmesi ve Aklama Suçu Soruşturma Bürosunca, "Futbol ve Diğer Spor Müsabakalarında Bahis ve Şans Oyunları Düzenlenmesi Hakkında Kanun'a muhalefet" ile "suçtan kaynaklanan malvarlığı değerlerini aklama" suçlarına karışan 23 şüpheli hakkında soruşturma başlatıldı. Soruşturma kapsamında, İstanbul İl Jandarma Komutanlığı Siber Suçlarla Mücadele Şube Müdürlüğünce yasa dışı bahis suçunun önlenmesi ve suça karışan kişilerin yakalanmasına yönelik çalışma yürütüldü. Çalışmalarda, MYPAYZ Elektronik Para ve Ödeme Hizmetleri AŞ ile bağlantılı gerçek ve tüzel kişiler hakkında mali, teknik, dijital ve açık kaynak incelemesi yapıldı. Çalışmalarda, söz konusu ödeme kuruluşunun yasa dışı bahis faaliyetlerinde kullanılan finansal altyapının merkezinde yer aldığı, 5 milyar liralık işlem hacmine ulaşan suç gelirlerinin finansal sisteme sokulması ve aklanması süreçlerinde aktif rol aldığı yönünde kuvvetli suç şüphesini gösteren somut deliller tespit edildi. Başsavcılığın koordinasyonunda, haklarında gözaltı kararı verilen 23 şüphelinin yakalanmasına yönelik İstanbul İl Jandarma Komutanlığı Siber Suçlarla Mücadele Şube Müdürlüğünce İstanbul, Ankara, Aydın, Bingöl, Kayseri ve Rize'de eş zamanlı operasyon düzenlendi. Operasyonda 20 zanlı gözaltına alınırken adreslerde yapılan aramalarda çok sayıda dijital materyal ele geçirildi. Ekiplerin 3 şüpheliyi yakalama çalışması sürüyor.
