World Snooker Championship protester identified after causing chaos in Shaun Murphy and Wu Yize final
The woman who stormed the World Snooker Championship final at the Crucible on Sunday has been identified as an adult content creator known as "Sasha Swan".
Swan disrupted the prestigious match between Shaun Murphy and Wu Yize during what marked the 50th edition of the world final at the Sheffield venue.
The adult content creator, who boasts approximately 36,000 followers on X, subsequently confirmed she was responsible for the incident through an explicit video posted to her social media accounts.
The disruption occurred during the third frame of the final, when Swan vaulted over the barriers and rushed towards the table while shouting about the TV licence fee.
Security personnel responded swiftly, with three staff members intercepting her before she could reach the playing area, and she was subsequently ejected from the venue.
The audience reacted with clear displeasure at the interruption, audibly booing the protest before breaking into applause once Swan had been removed from the arena.
Referee Rob Spencer was pictured blocking the intruder's path during the commotion, an image Swan later reshared on social media with a crude caption expressing she "would love him to touch me more".

In her expletive-laden video statement, Swan continued her attack on the broadcaster, asserting that "no one pays their TV licence" and declaring "f*** the BBC and f*** snooker".
She confirmed her involvement, stating: "Yeah it was me, I did streak the snooker with my team.
"I didn't manage to get them out because they kicked me out quickly."

Swan elaborated on her stance regarding the licence fee, saying: "But who the f*** does pay their TV licence?
"Nobody pays their TV licence. I don't care. F*** the BBC, f*** the snooker, f*** everybody."
Despite her scathing criticism of the sport, Swan expressed admiration for snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan, stating: "Get on my Twitter right now and you'll see me and Ronnie O'Sullivan.
"I wish he was there. Big up to Ronnie O'Sullivan."
The incident drew comparisons to the Just Stop Oil demonstration that disrupted proceedings at the 2023 World Championship, when an activist scattered orange powder across one of the tables at the Sheffield venue.
That protest similarly caused significant disruption to play and sparked debate about security measures at the iconic arena.

Murphy booked his place in the final with a narrow win over John Higgins.
Higgins, aged 50, put up a strong fight before ultimately being overcome.
As for Yu, the Chinese star battled his way past Mark Allen.
Allen was left devastated after his defeat, having come so close to etching his name into the history books.
