Police in Auckland were called to attend the 'sudden death' of a woman after the flight landed. Inquiries into the woman's death are underway on behalf of the coroner. Qantas confirmed to local outlet Stuff that a passenger passed during the over 17-hour flight. 'Urgent assistance was provided by crew and doctors onboard but sadly they passed away,' a spokesperson said.
