Woman caught on CCTV 'stirring HAIR into child's macaroni before demanding free meal'
A woman was caught on CCTV appearing to pull out her own hair and stir it into her child's macaroni before demanding the meal for free.
The diner had been eating out with her children at The Woolpack in Haslingden, Lancashire, when the disgusting moment unfolded.
Restaurant staff willingly seated the group, who arrived without a booking.
During the meal, the woman is said to have raised concerns about discovering a hair in the child's pasta.
Employees promptly took away the plate - and the chef offered to cook a fresh meal of the customer's choosing.
The family accepted this offer, though the replacement dish was ultimately taken away as the youngster had eaten most of the original portion.
Staff grew suspicious after inspecting the hair and discovering how long it was.
The pub's chef does not have long hair and would not have been capable of shedding such a strand.

After the group eventually left, management trawled through CCTV footage and made the grim discovery.
The footage appeared to show the woman herself was responsible for placing the hair in the dish.
A spokesman for The Woolpack said: "After the family left, we reviewed our CCTV footage and were surprised to discover the apparent source of the hair - the complainant herself."
The security footage later showed the same woman appearing to steal a number of items from her table - by hiding them in her child's hat.

She allegedly took a bottle of ketchup, an ice cream bowl, and a teaspoon from the premises.
"While we appreciate that everyone enjoys a good bottle of Heinz, and we understand the undeniable appeal of a stainless-steel teaspoon, we would gently remind customers that these items are not currently included in our takeaway menu," the pub jabbed.
The establishment shared the video on Facebook alongside their account of events.
They added: "Running a small hospitality business is challenging enough without having to deal with false complaints, threats of social media campaigns, and missing tableware.

"We are incredibly proud of our team, who handled the situation with patience, professionalism, and far more restraint than most people would manage."
Social media users responded with outrage after viewing the footage.
One commenter fumed: “Individuals like this spoil it for everyone.
“Well done on showing it on socials and hopefully people will see them for what they are.”
Another said: "Wow! Absolutely lowest-of-the low... No shame!"
The Woolpack said they believe hospitality venues "have the right to defend themselves against dishonest behaviour just as customers have the right to raise genuine concerns".
They added: "We will always take legitimate complaints seriously and do everything we can to put things right.
"However, we will not stay silent when accusations are demonstrably untrue.
"To our loyal customers: thank you for your continued support."
