OTTAWA — Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk couldn’t believe he missed a chance to beat Carolina Hurricanes goalie Frederik Andersen in the second period Thursday night. He slammed the bench door, and the wham was heard from as high as the Canadian Tire Centre rafters.In that same period, Tim Stützle was visibly frustrated as he received instructions from coach Travis Green. In a series where Stützle and his teammates barely had any room to manoeuvre, it was getting to him. By the end of the second, it got to their fans, who booed them off the ice.
