Williams have confirmed that Alex Albon will continue to race for the squad in 2027, extending his record-breaking stay with the team. Albon first joined Williams back in 2022 following a year on the sidelines as a reserve driver for Red Bull, and the Thai driver has since gone on to be a part of the Grove-based outfit’s mission to return to the top, a journey that saw them climb up to P5 in last year’s Teams’ Championship. While it has been a tougher season for the team so far in 2026, Albon has reaffirmed his commitment and will again drive for Williams into 2027.
