Wild's Mats Zuccarello, Yakov Trenin out for Game 3 vs. Stars

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Mats Zuccarello and Yakov Trenin are out for Game 3 of the Minnesota Wild-Dallas Stars first-round playoff series.Neither player was in warmups in advance of Wednesday night’s game. Zuccarello, who had three assists in Game 1, will miss his second game in a row with what the Wild said are the effects of an elbow to the head from Stars defenseman Tyler Myers early in Saturday’s game. Trenin was injured late in the first period of Monday night’s Game 2 when he was trucked in the neutral-zone on a perfectly timed check from Colin Blackwell as he received a pass from teammate Zach Bogosian.Advertisement
