Who is leading the US and Iran delegations in Pakistan?

ALBAWABA - Iran said that parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf will be heading the negotiating delegation in Pakistan on Friday, after the announcement of a two-week ceasefire deal.

ISNA added that the American delegation will be headed by JD Vance, the Vice President 
of the United States.

However, Tasnim news agency, citing a source, said that the head of the Iranian negotiating team has not yet been determined, contrary to some media reports, in reference to ISNA, which said that Iran's parliament speaker would be leading the team in Pakistan.

Iran and the United States reached a ceasefire agreement on Tuesday, barely an hour before Trump's deadline to obliterate Tehran was set to expire. Trump threatened on early Tuesday in a post on Truth Social that "A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" if Tehran refuses to open the Strait of Hormuz.

Later on, the U.S. president announced, "We received a 10-point proposal from Iran, and we believe it is a viable basis for negotiation," stressing that he had agreed to halt bombing and attacks on Iran for two weeks.

According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, Iran proposed 10 points to agree on a ceasefire deal with Washington, including a guarantee of non-aggression against Iran, acceptance of uranium enrichment, in addition to lifting all primary and secondary sanctions on Iran.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif earlier announced the deal included "Lebanon and elsewhere" and is effective immediately. But, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office later clarified the ceasefire deal between the US and Iran "does not include Lebanon".
