Manchester United will announce a new deal for Kobbie Mainoo within the next 48 hours. Mainoo has quadrupled his wages after pledging his future to the English giants. The England midfielder had been in negotiations with club bosses for the last three months. And Mainoo has now put pen to paper on a deal worth £120,000-a-week , that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2031. It's understood United will confirm the news before the end of this week. The deal represents a remarkable turnaround in fortunes for Mainoo, who turned 21 earlier this month. Just a few months ago, Mainoo was set to leave United to join Napoli on a six-month loan deal until the end of this season. Mainoo had become fed up with life at Old Trafford , after former boss Ruben Amorim refused to pick him. While Carrick is reluctant to get involved in contract negotiations involving his players, he has been keen to see Mainoo rewarded with a new deal.
