As they are wrapped around a weekend it means many get a four day break without using up any annual leave.‌But when they've gone it can be hard to think of going back to normal working hours and leave people looking forward to the next one. Well the good news is there is not long to wait with two more coming within weeks and more before the end of the year.‌In England and Wales there are two in May, one in August and then it is over to Christmas when there are two more this year - with one moving from its regular slot. And for those on benefits it can change their payment date, usually bringing it forward to the day before if the usual payment date is on a weekend or bank holiday.England and WalesThe government has already confirmed the bank holidays until the end of 2028 on its website.
