In 2024, a poll commissioned by the Farmers Guardian confirmed that just 28% of farmers planned to vote Labour – compared to 31% for the Tories and 14% backing Reform. More recent polling shows that support for the Labour Party has nosedived, with 40% backing Reform and a shocking 67% uninterested in Labour and its potential leadership candidates, including Mr Streeting.
