Speaking on GB News, the Conservative peer fumed that the “will of the people” was being denied in fighting the issue.
Speaking on the previous Tory Government, Lord Redwood said he “went hoarse explaining to them these very basic things about the legal changes you can make”.
“We're a sovereign country. Just change the law!”
The peer stressed: “We can change it tomorrow if we want to!”
Lord Redwood a change of mindset on migration would assure that the “will of the people and the promise of the politicians could be met”.
