Nasa administrator Jared Isaacman said that the space agency seeks to inspire curiosity "as America returns to the moon again and this time to stay". The plans for a permanent return to the moon come after Nasa's successful Artemis II mission in April, which saw four astronauts make a trip around the Earth's only natural satellite.
