Former England striker Teddy Sheringham shares his analysis of England's World Cup triumph over DR Congo with GB News.

Speaking to broadcaster Paul Coyte, the football legend hailed the "fantastic" efforts of the team after a "desperate" start to the game.

He said: "The first 20 minutes was a bit desperate. No cohesion, everybody's all over the place doing their own thing. But once they got to grips with it after that period, I thought the energy and the desire that they put to to get back into the game was fantastic.

"And I know they left it a little bit late, but credit to Anthony Gordon as well, lifting the ball into a lovely little area for Harry to attack. If the ball isn't played there, then he can't attack it, so credit for him.

"But Harry does the business, he's the top goalscorer in Europe, maybe even in the world. Put it in there for him and he'll take the chances, so absolutely fantastic in the end."
