Jenson Cole (Ryan Clayton) is on a mission to take down both Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) and Gemma Johnson (Tisha Merry) in Hollyoaks and next week he goes out of his way to get what he wants.
In a very unexpected twist earlier this week, viewers learned that Jenson is actually an undercover cop, which explains why he’s been playing his cards close to his chest this whole time!
His handler Alison, who he met with in secret, berated him for ‘operating off book’ and made it clear that she was bringing him in, putting a stop to whatever he was investigating.
Jenson urged her to give him more time, revealing that he’ll be able to get her not only the Warren Fox but also Gemma, who has taken over Froggy Black’s (John Middleton) operation following his demise.
Alison was unsure – but Jenson wasn’t planning on giving up.
Next week, unsuspecting Gemma gifts Donny (Louis Emerick) and Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) a painting to celebrate her dad making a big arrest in the gang he’s been investigating.
Donny is delighted – but little does he know that the leader of said gang is his own daughter!
Gemma seems to be making a habit of cheering people up on the day in question as, shortly afterwards, she tells Warren that Sebastian Blake (Teddie Williamson) can come home.
However, the happiness is short-lived as Warren makes a staggering discovery in subsequent scenes.
Jenson informs him that Gemma is the one in charge of the gang that he’s been after – the very same gang that has the money he craves.
Without wasting a second, Warren faces off with Gemma. He’s out for money while she’s out for his affection. The question is: will either party get what they want?
Jenson, meanwhile, rings his contact in the police and asks to join the force again, promising to take down Warren and Gemma once and for all.
Will his superiors let him back in? And if so, will he succeed in his mission?
