The qualification must be completed before the September start date of the programme. Candidates need two to six years of relevant professional experience. The World Bank Group says at least two years of full-time work experience following completion of undergraduate studies is required. Relevant part-time experience and internships may also count towards the required experience in certain circumstances. For candidates pursuing a doctorate, relevant full-time doctoral research may count towards the experience requirement if the doctorate is substantially complete and the written work has been submitted before the September start date. Applicants must be nationals of a World Bank Group member country. Nationality has to be demonstrated through an officially issued passport or equivalent document. Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages can be an advantage during the application process. There is no specific age requirement for the Young Professionals Programme. However, candidates still need to meet the required professional experience criteria, which means the programme is aimed at early-career professionals.WHO CANNOT APPLY?
