'We are aware that some customers are experiencing intermittent issues with Vodafone service and we are urgently investigating,' the company said in a statement on Thursday. 'We apologise for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We will provide an update as soon as possible.' There had been more than 8,300 reports of a Vodafone outage filed to the tracking service Downdetector by 9.15am on Thursday. Australians in cities across the country have all shared on Reddit that they were struggling with issues during the morning. 'Walking around Melbourne's CBD trying to get on any free WiFi,' one user said. Another added: 'Same here in Adelaide. Missus and mine are both SOS only.'
