Just don't plan on lighting any fireworks in Alexandria to celebrate.
The government of Alexandria tweeted Wednesday a blunt warning about fireworks — and encouragement to snitch on your neighbors.
"Fireworks are illegal in Alexandria, including sparklers. Report illegal fireworks by calling 311," the tweet announcing the city's plans stated, in part.
