Ajax and Croatia international defender Josip Sutalo has arrived for his Lazio medical, ready to join on loan for €3m with option to buy for a further €7.5m.
The deal between the clubs was worked out several days ago, and the player has also managed to agree personal terms.
He arrived at the Fiumicino Airport in Rome this afternoon, where he was greeted by fans and media.
Sutalo set for Lazio medical

The medical tests are likely to be completed tomorrow, as there are many things to be done for both Lazio and the Italian authorities.
Sutalo turned 26 in February and Sky Sport Italia put the figures of this deal as €3m for the one-season loan, with option to buy for a further €7.5m in June 2027.
The central defender has 27 senior caps for Croatia, and joined Ajax from Dinamo Zagreb in 2023 for €20.5m.
He made 31 competitive appearances for Ajax last season, but had some difficulties with injuries.
