Ronaldinho has arrived in Italy and is set to take part in a number of promotional events with Serie C side Ravenna, for whom the Brazilian icon has signed for at the age of 46.
Earlier this summer, it was confirmed that former Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldinho has signed for Serie C outfit Ravenna at the age of 46. The ex-Barcelona, PSG and Milan star has taken part in the club’s pre-season training camp, but will be in attendance for the official presentation of the team ahead of the 2026-27 season on Friday (August 21).

Ravenna owner Ignazio Cipriani has insisted that Ronaldinho has not been brought to the club for promotional and commercial reasons, but that he is expected to play in at least one match in the Italian third-tier.
“He will be there for the presentation of the team on August 21,” Cipriani confirmed in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport back in June.
“He won’t come on the training camp, but he will definitely take part in at least one league match, maybe even a few more, we’ll see. We still don’t know when he will take to the pitch in the league, it will depend on several things. It will definitely be a home game.
“His goal is to score his final goal in a Ravenna shirt.”

Ronaldinho has been spotted stepping off his flight in Italy and is expected to meet up with his Ravenna colleagues on Friday.
