Chelsea centre-back Benoit Badiashile has arrived in Italy ahead of his move to Serie A club Napoli, which could be worth a total of €30m if the transfer is made permanent.
Badiashile is joining the Partenopei on an initial season-long loan deal at a cost of €3m with an option to buy for a further €27m according to reports in Italy. He is set to become the second defender to sign for Napoli this summer following Italy youngster Costantino Favasuli, whose arrival was officially announced on Wednesday morning.

Both signings bolster Massimiliano Allegri’s defence, with centre-backs Alessandro Buongiorno, Sam Beukema and Luca Marianucci all currently out injured.
The 25-year-old is expected to have his medical with the Azzurri on Wednesday.
