Marwan Jumaa, 20, was serving an indefinite sentence at a secure hospital facility following his conviction for two robberies that left two women seriously injured. He was last seen in the Radcliffe area of Greater Manchester and has been described as a threat to himself and others. Jumaa absconded from North Manchester Hospital on Tuesday evening where he was due to receive medical treatment. He has been described as black, of skinny build, with short dark hair, and about 5ft 10ins tall. It is understood that Jumaa had been held at HMP Belmarsh in London prior to his sentencing. 'We have no information to suggest any intention to inflict imminent harm, but ultimately, he is a wanted and dangerous individual. 'I fully understand that this is concerning news, but I want the public to know that we are working around-the-clock to find him. 'We have officers dedicated to the search and anyone with any issues should contact their local team. 'Of course, if you believe you have seen Jumaa, or have any information, you should call 999 immediately.
