Unbe-leafably cute! Sweet baby bear pops its head through foliage

With its curious face poking through the long grass, the youngster might have looked like any other bear cub foraging alongside its mother and sibling. That was until it popped its head up - and brought a little bit of the landscape with it. A single leaf had become stuck to the cub's head, giving the already adorable animal an unexpected touch of woodland camouflage. The charming moment was captured in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania, Europe, by landscape gardener and keen wildlife photographer Dave Kiely, 41. Dave said the cub had been busy searching for food with its mother and sibling when it suddenly emerged from the long grass sporting its leafy new accessory. 'This small brown bear cub was with its mum and sibling, foraging around for food in long grassland, when it popped its head up and brought some of the landscape with it, with a leaf getting stuck to its head,' he said. The bemused youngster then appeared to realise something was not quite right. For Dave, who has photographed bears around the world as a hobby, it was a particularly memorable encounter. 'Having photographed bears all over the world as a hobby, I've never seen one have extra camouflage before,' he said. 'And it was a light-hearted moment to witness.'
