The snow is expected to start falling in the north of Scotland before flurries drift southward - potentially even reaching London.‌Maps show heavy snow falling in the north-east of Scotland at around midday on April 28, with lighter flurries in southern Scotland, the Pennines and parts of Northern Ireland.
