Temperatures across much of the surrounding area - including parts of Kent, Crawley and Reading - are predicted to peak at around 20C.‌Further west, Worcestershire and the wider West Midlands are also in line for a warm afternoon, with highs of 21C and surrounding areas hovering at around 19C. More broadly, areas from roughly Leeds southwards - covering the Midlands, Wales, the South East and South West - are expected to see temperatures ranging between 17C and 21C, with many places sitting comfortably around the 18C to 19C mark.View 2 ImagesTemperatures could soon rise to 21C (Image: WXCharts)The picture will be different further north with cooler air set to linger across Scotland, where temperatures are forecast to stay between 7C and 9C in many areas.
